in Zurich, Kreis 3 has been the centre of my world. I\u2019ve lived in other parts of the city, but I\u2019ve always kept coming back \u2013 either for an evening out or to live on a permanent basis. The reason is Idaplatz. Even though geographically speaking it\u2019s on the periphery, it seems to me it\u2019s the real centre of the neighbourhood. This is where people from the neighbourhood get together \u2013 where people from the whole of Zurich get together at the restaurant, at the bar, or simply on one of the benches grouped around the leafy square.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1ad9135 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1ad9135\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This ease is reflected everywhere: in conversations with people of all stripes, in the higgledy-piggledy shops, and in the absence of unnecessary frills. All this gives Idaplatz its character, a kind of relaxed neighbourhood charm you otherwise only find in big cities like Hamburg, Amsterdam and London.
