discovering new favourite places, which is one of the things that makes Switzerland\u2019s biggest city such an attractive place for me to live. But one place stands out: the jetty at Wollishofen harbour, right next to the Cassiopeia boardwalk. From here you get a wonderful view of the lake and the city landmarks in the background, while the boats and the marina in the foreground give you the feeling of being somewhere on the Mediterranean.\u00a0 This impression is reinforced by the fact that the jetty or breakwater is moored to the bed of the lake and floats and rocks, just like a ship.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1ad9135 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1ad9135\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The movements of the lake and water bring instant relaxation and make the hustle and bustle of downtown fade into the background \u2013 or so I was told in the summer by a freshwater captain who has a mooring in the harbour and virtually lives there. This anecdote illustrates another effect of the floating jetty: people, who fortunately rarely appear here in large crowds, are in a very peaceful and communicative mood. communications consultant at open up I manage accounts in finance, real estate, ICT, culture and the arts, and retail.<\/p><p>Before joining the agency I worked in various areas of communications, including business journalism, corporate communications, public affairs, and writing and conceptual work. Latterly I was head of communications at a financial services industry association. I studied political science at the universities of Geneva and
