The beauty of listening texts is how personal they are. When we listen we get closer to people. But the tricky thing about audio texts is that they work differently than texts intended for reading. Those who have written a lot for the eye often find writing for the ear counterintuitive. <\/strong><\/p>

The very first texts we write in school are intended to be read rather than read aloud. And even at a professional level we often focus on written texts. But with the growing popularity of audio and video, writing for the ear is becoming increasingly important. For communications specialists, that means rethinking and learning a new way of writing.<\/p>
