Heading abroad to gain fresh perspectives: what works for students can be just as valuable in the world of PR. As part of an agency exchange, I spent two weeks with our partner agency Prova in Warwick. In return, Ryan Witton will join the open up team at the end of October. In this short audio feature, we reflect on the differences and similarities between PR work in the UK and Switzerland.

Prova and open up are members of PRN, a global network of independent PR agencies. The network’s partners exchange ideas, share expertise and collaborate whenever it’s needed.

I had the chance to spend two inspiring weeks at Prova in Warwick — diving into client projects and gaining first-hand insight into how media relations are run in the UK. My conclusion? It’s not that different from Switzerland, but there are certainly nuances that set it apart. In this audio conversation, Ryan and I unpack those distinctions and explore the challenges PR agencies face today.
