My favourite place
All bundled up, a cup of coffee-to-go in my hand, eyes gazing at the water – whenever I visit Zurich’s lakeside promenade, I feel like I’m on holiday in the middle of the city. This place calls to me, even in winter months. Although fewer people are out and about in the cold temperatures, you’re never entirely alone and almost always likely to see a street performer or playing dogs nearby.
Summer is my favourite season, though. On hot days, you’ll probably find me at Utoquai Badi (a public bath), stretched out on the wooden deck, hair still wet and my face soaking up the sun. The many urban swimming oases along Lake Zurich are some of my favourite places in this metropolis. Whether I just stop by for a quick dip to cool off or spend a whole afternoon full of laughter and games with my friends, I never get bored at the public baths.
I’m drawn to the outdoors whenever the weather is nice. Sometimes I’ll be out on the tennis court or my racing bike, other times I’m simply strolling through the streets of Zurich in search of a new café or a good bar. And if the weather doesn’t cooperate, you’ll find me at the cinema with a big bucket of popcorn.

Career
I’m currently doing an internship at open up where I’m gaining my first valuable experience in the communications industry. Before that, I spent six months here as a student temp.
At the same time, I’m studying at the University of Zurich, where I’m working toward a bachelor’s degree in communication science and media research with a minor in business administration.
