Bank CIC relies on open up’s communications expertise

Bank CIC (Schweiz) AG has hired PR and communications agency open up to support it with corporate communications in Switzerland. The aim is to build further awareness of services focusing on the ongoing digitalisation of banking processes and the investment business.

Bank CIC is the flexible bank for businesses, entrepreneurs and private individuals with complex financial requirements. Established by Basel bankers in 1871 to cater to the financial needs of entrepreneurs, it is now a subsidiary of the French financial services group Crédit Mutuel and employs more than 400 people at nine offices in Switzerland. With the launch of New Swiss Banking, Bank CIC has initiated Swiss banking 2.0, considerably expanding its range of digital services in the process. In addition to building its hybrid advisory model and proprietary eLounge e-banking solution, the introduction of the first multibanking platform in Switzerland has been one of the key milestones of this year.

Open up supports Bank CIC in all areas of corporate communications, focusing on media relations and social media. For example the agency serves as the point of contact for Swiss financial and business journalists and as a proactive content provider, selecting topical themes to position the bank’s investment and corporate finance specialists for expert interviews and professional articles, simultaneously assuring balanced media presence for the bank.
