My favourite place
Ever since I’ve been based in Zurich, Kreis 3 has been the centre of my world. I’ve lived in other parts of the city, but I’ve always kept coming back – either for an evening out or to live on a permanent basis. The reason is Idaplatz. Even though geographically speaking it’s on the periphery, it seems to me it’s the real centre of the neighbourhood. This is where people from the neighbourhood get together – where people from the whole of Zurich get together at the restaurant, at the bar, or simply on one of the benches grouped around the leafy square.
This ease is reflected everywhere: in conversations with people of all stripes, in the higgledy-piggledy shops, and in the absence of unnecessary frills. All this gives Idaplatz its character, a kind of relaxed neighbourhood charm you otherwise only find in big cities like Hamburg, Amsterdam and London. That’s why I love coming back, for something to eat, a drink, a chat, or simply to watch life go by.

My story
Before joining open up I gained a wide variety of professional skills both at agencies and international companies. My expertise covers areas including corporate communications, media relations, content strategy and creation, brand management and marketing communications. At open up I put this know-how to work for clients in a wide variety of industries.
I have a diploma in PR consulting, and studied business administration, marketing, corporate communications and association management.
